Our Story

Nestled between magnificent red-rock cliffs and the San Juan River in the town of Bluff, Utah, you will find Coral Sands RV Park. It is a peaceful oasis with tall shade trees in a quiet neighborhood. It is easy to find, just south of Hwy. 191 on the west end of town. Coral Sands hosts 34 full-hookup sites, with 15 pull-thru's specifically built for the big rigs, plus picnic tables, laundry, bathrooms with showers and free wi-fi. This privately owned RV park is open February 1 to December 1 and has weekly rates for extended stays. 

Purchased in 1992 from Linn McClarey, who maintained the park until his death, Galen Headley spent many months renovating the spaces from a standard trailer park into a comfortable RV Park. He added a row of pull-through spaces, modified the electrical to accommodate 50 amp units, increased the size of the spaces, and modernized the plumbing for dual piping on the artesian well. Mr. Headley owned and managed the park until April 1, 2018 when he sold it to Pamela & Mike Yearous (youngest daughter & husband).  

Mike and I are very excited to be in the Bluff Community and to have the pleasure of serving RVers who stop to stay. We are transplants from Colorado (east of Denver) who fell in love with the area over the last 20 years as we  explored trails and scenic views on every vacation and holiday we could manage. It took a while to talk Dad into handing over control of this lovely park, and we plan to operate it with the care and attention to detail that he did. We have added several bathrooms/showers, laundry facilities and a new office/camp store with ice, snacks, frozen goods, grocery items, household and camping supplies!

We spent a few years RVing full-time and loved the lifestyle and people. We look forward to meeting new and interesting campers and enjoy learning about others and their adventures. I hope you will stop in to share your time with us soon!
