Bears Ears National Monument consists of over 1.3 million acres co-managed by the BLM, National Forest and a coalition of five Native American tribes. The boundaries run SE along Comb Ridge and encompass Indian Creek to the NE, Valley of the Gods to the South, wester parts of Manti-LaSalle National Forest & Dark Canyon Wilderness to the North and West. Taking a drive north from the Mokie Dugway/Valley of the Gods area will provide the iconic view pictured here of the Bears Ears Buttes that appear on the horizon.
